Our Mission

Who We Are

We are an empathetic organization based in Uganda, established in 2017,

with the mission of advocating for all conscious beings, bringing about

positive change to human and non-human animals, and creating awareness

of the intersections of human and animal rights. We believe that everyone

deserves to live a healthy and cruelty-free lifestyle, and we’re committed to

making a cruelty-free plant-based lifestyle accessible to everyone,

regardless of their background, culture, or socioeconomic status. We also

believe that the promotion of human and animal rights is essential to the

creation of a just and equitable society.

Kyotera Vegan Care Foundation is dedicated to promoting a plant-based

lifestyle through education, outreach, and community engagement. We

strive to create a world where all people have access to healthy and

sustainable food choices. We’re also deeply committed to advocating for

animal rights, recognizing that non-human animals are sentient beings with

the right to live free from harm and exploitation.

At our core, we’re a group of passionate individuals who share a vision of a

kinder, more compassionate world. We know that every choice we make has

an impact on the world around us, and we’re dedicated to making a positive

change. We believe that human rights are interlinked with animal rights and

environmental sustainability, and that by promoting a plant-based lifestyle,

we can contribute to a more just and equitable world for all beings.

We choose to be advocates for animals through Kyotera Vegan Care

Foundation. Based on our personal experiences, we feel humans have done

enough injustice to non-human animals. And, because they cannot speak,

we choose to speak for them and, hence, we chose to become vegans.

Animals are too kind to humans and we think they deserve the same

kindness. We feel that about all non-human animals including chickens and

other birds. We don’t want children and grandchildren to pay the price for

the extinction or exploitation of animals that we didn’t protect as our

ancestors did in their lives.

Together with Kyotera Vegan Care Foundation, I believe we can reach the

global goals of ensuring rights for animals and increasing the number of

vegans worldwide and thus ensuring that “Every life matters”.

Kyotera Youth Empowerment has truly made a difference in my life. Their dedication to vegan activism and animal rights advocacy is inspiring. I highly recommend their program!
